Dominated by the cathedral, it is quite easy to miss some interesting other buildings around the green which are still used. The green itself sometimes covered by marquees when the graduation ceremonies are on.

What a beautiful area this is. It lies between the cathedral and the castle. There are benches where you can sit and watch the world go by or take in the wonderful historic buildings.

Many of the main attractions are centred on this lovely green. It is lovely to just sit and enjoy the view in the sunshine or look at from the café if it is raining.

Surrounded on three sides by the Cathedral and outbuildings, this has to be one of the most gorgeous sights! On a sunny day you can sit there and watch the world go by or, more importantly, take in the wonderful architecture of the Cathedral and...More
