Amazing views over the whole of Belfast from the summit, a tough walk but well worth it and can be taken in your stride

Redburn country park is a fantastic place to visit just outside of Belfast. There are beautiful panoramic views across Belfast lough and plenty of space to let your dog roam about. It is a popular spot for dog walkers, runners and walkers.

Testing walking trails up some steep, loose gravel terrain, great views over the airport, Belfast lough and beyond. Really nice during autumn if it has been dry as there is a crunchy 'carpet' of leaves underfoot otherwise it can be muddy in places.

Perfect for family rambles, walking the dog, a little or a lot of exercise and upon reaching the top the reward of spectacular views.

Beautiful scenery and breathtaking views from the top. That is if you have any breath left after the hike up the hills ;) keep the younger ones amused by looking for squirrels and visiting the old bear pit. This is a weekly favourite of mine...More

Great place for a forest walk and lovely views of Belfast from the top. Great for families with kids, couples or just to walk the dog. Lovely views over the whole of Belfast from top.

Worst place I have ever visited for a walk in NI - sorry but that's the truth . Mucky , dirty, dismal and even the view over Belfast Lough wouldn't make it worth visiting.

Redburn is a really great park for a good walk! Lots of different routes to take and some challenging uphill sections! Quite easy to get lost but fun at the same time! Takes a good hour/hour and half to get the whole way round!

It's suitable but paths are quite steep in places (and muddy) You might want to bring a buggy along incase they get tired.
