This is a part of East Lothian that is sometimes overlooked but is well worth a visit. I have recommended the walk to several visitors to the area and they have all enjoyed walking from the Nungate bridge and along the river. It is a beautiful location. There are plenty of nearby places to eat.

Haddington has a beautiful walk from the Nungate Bridge heading west around the River Tyne. You can then head towards the town centre from the west Mill.

We saw this picturesque bridge at night. There was a beautiful cathedral to the left. We dined at Waterside which was delicious. There were majestic swans in the water and little Scottish terriers on their nightime strolls. It was very nice and we would love to return to Haddington for longer. Xoxox! Reese and Yvannia

If you are walking in the area a lovely spot to stop and watch the river pass by with the Waterside Inn just a few yards away.

It's a lovely place to visit and walk around. The view is so nice with the river. A not to miss place just to hang out and enjoy a lovely day near the bridge and the nice scenery of the ducks and Swan in the river.

Ancient historic bridge across the river Tyne, great spot for feeding the ducks. Bridge had a gruesome past - criminals were hung from under it, if you look closely you can still see the hooks attached to the edge of the bridge eek!

There is the Waterside Bistro one side and a Cafe, Peter Potter Gallery the other side and St Mary's Garden is a jewel to be found here too, this is a great Family location to feed Swans and other wildlife, dog walking, and relaxing in the Normandy Gardens
