We loved our various rides on the Electric Railway - staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful and views were amazing. Our main reason for visiting the Island was to experience the vintage transport - we're very glad we did!

Used this service for two days and as well as being very scenic the trams ran on time each time we used them. Helpful friendly staff made the journey fun.

Enclosed (bench seating) and open carriages means that travel on the MER can be undertaken at any time of year. A great way to see around the island!

Best way to see the Isle of Mann in a short time. Narrated. Lends atmosphere and history to a long ride in high terrain without the risks of driving yourself. Not to be missed.

It is very easy to move about and at times either side, on the way 'up' I would say the right hand side, to get a good view of the Laxey wheel.
