Great views from here but you need a car to get there or else it is a really long climb from the bottom. No public transport.

Called here to fill in some time before boarding the ferry and it was worth it. The views are wonderful but guess the weather was on our side. Our 11yr also found it fascinating which is a good sign. Nice end to a lovely bread...More

A bit of a walk and a climb at Douglas head to visit this attraction, but unfortunately on our day it was closed, which was a big disappointment. It is staffed only by volunteers.

I would have liked to have tried the Camera Obscura but it is only open for limited times on weekends and bank holidays. I realise it is manned by volunteers but on a sunny day in August it was disappointing to find it closed.

If views across bays are your thing, then this is THE place to be. A lovely way to spend an hour or two with the family just admiring the wonderful Manx scenery

A steep climb up from the beach by road or steps but when you get there it is interesting. Once the eyes are focussed in the dark of the hut, the pictures are clear but really you don't see much more that the naked eye,...More

Nice little 5 or 10 minute visit when up Douglas head. It's an old fashioned Victorian tourist attraction and has a nice feel to it as such. It's not going to take your breath away with the views you can see anyways but it's a...More

Quirky and worth the walk/visit. Good views over the harbour and the coast. Friendly and enthusiastic staff
