I had been told about this statue before I went on holiday and when I saw it I was amazed how big it was . It was for amazing to see both sides of it .

Always hated this 'statue' seems so out of place and ruins a truly great natural view. I understand Damien Hurst has loaned the town this thing...can he come and pick it up.

Walked around Ilfracombe harbour and saw this statue which looks nice from one side but is really gruesome on the other side. Typical Damian Hurst really. Wouldn’t waste your time going to see it.

i walked down into almost the sea next to the statue and threw a rose into the water given to me by a local florist in memory of my daddy's birthday - it felt so right xx

It Rocks , We were literally almost blown away by the inclemant weather - it didn't rock - actually it poured with rain ! But , Verity stood firm and i thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

Yes, planning # from wikipedia, 177 for 100 against. Amanda Palmer copied this as a human statue in New York yesterday... Amazing artist, as is DH
