The volunteers do a great job in making the gardens a riot of colour. There are bands in the park on Sunday afternoons during summer.

The gardens are lovely, very colourful with lots of flowers everywhere in the park, a lake with lots of ducks etc. A livery fernery , different birds in cages. Also a cafe serving food and drinks.

Nice quiet park, with lovely gardens, woodland walks and play areas for the children. There is a small nursery, 2 cafe's , gift shop and toilets. You can spend a pleasant couple of hours there, weather permitting.

Love the botanical gardens. Perfect for a sunny Sunday morning. Lots of space to relax, walk or play. Little cafe as well as a few animals to see. Great place to take the kids to let them run around and get some fresh air.
