The tower house is now the tourist information office in Bangor, which seems very apt. Local leaflets are in the main part of the building, and attractions in the rest of the province are displayed in the tower. The history of the tower is displayed outside. The staff inside are very helpful.

One of Bangors landmarks and historical points. Good restaurants nearby and the Marina is opposite. Get a photograph.

This is another original building sitting at the sea front and now houses the Tourist Information Centre - provides loads of information on local events along with quite an extensive offering of locally made gifts - staff are really helpful regarding the local area

I tried visiting Tower House which is Bangor's Tourist Information Centre but was disappointed to find it is closed on Sundays (except in July & August) so I unfortunately cannot comment on the information available inside. I can, however, comment on the fascinating exterior of the historic building which is situated on the corner of Quay Street & Victoria Road... More

Best place to find out all the interesting things on offer in and around Bangor, including opening times and the place to book tours and tickets for the theatre.
