The council run garden is both good for a coffee and a short walk. Good for those who can't walk long distances with plenty of flowers art and edible plants. There is apparently a Saturday selling of grown fruit and veg

Went here recently. It's on my own doorstep and I'm rarely there. Shame on me. It's very pleasant and tranquil. Lovely surroundings and a nice place to spend a quiet couple of hours. You can bring a picnic or alternatively there's an cafe.

Visited the walled garden during the week for a picnic in the lovely weather! We were very pleasantly surprised by the gardens which are a beautiful spot for a picnic! Plenty of benches to sit and it is very quiet!

The walled garden at Bangor castle is a little or oasis of peace. Although lots going on it still manages to have a peaceful atmosphere. I enjoy going into the green houses and see the older variety of vegetables they are keeping from extinction. Purple...More
