Ourselves and our dogs were made very welcome on our visit . The wife of a retired vicar spent some time explaining the church's history and the magnificent stained glass windows. The short midday reading and prayer was an unexpected bonus.

Arts & Crafts Church designed by Philip Webb & containing stained glass windows designed by Edward Burne Jones & made by Morris & Co. Well worth a visit, but check for opening hours.

You can park next the antiques centre and the door is worked by a time clock - a notice invites you in for prayer. A light comes on in the entrance area, however it was really quite dark in the main church which was fine...More
