The Tarn is a tucked away in the countryside near Brampton but just follow the signs from the A69 roundabout and it is easy to find. Access is free but there is a modest charge for parking. Well worth a visit for its level lakeside...More

We happened by Talkin Tarn by chance. The lake is in an amazing location and is perfect to get away from it all for a few hours. We walked our grandchildren around the lake pointing out the different birds it made for a pleasant afternoon....More

we stopped here for a walk around the lake, it was beautiful, we did the circular walk then had tea and cake sat overlooking the lake, fantastic!
