This bridge is one of the wonders of Wales but not necessarily if you're driving a motor home. We managed it successfully with my wife acting as a lookout on foot on the crest of the bridge. On the return there's a lighting system but...More

It's from the 1600's - locals give way to whoever reaches the middle point first. There are often arguments in summer when tourists who don't know the customs try and cross it. There will be a time that they will stop traffic going over it...More

Well, it's a bridge. The highlight here is hoping that two cars will meet on this one way bridge. There are no traffic lights, as this would cause problems on the main road. So only one direction has approaching car warning lights, so two cars...More

A very picturesque bridge that spans the river at the town of llanwrst. Traffic flows just one way so watching cars meet on the brow of the bridge is quite entertaining as there is often a stand off!

We walked over the bridge and went down to the river, so our dog could have a paddle. It is worth a visit, especially looking back from the river.
