Richmond park is a beautiful place for a walk to get away from the City. The wild deer are stunning and there are endless paths you can take that lead you to ponds, fields and benches. There is a little cafe and public toilets if you need a stop too.

Went to Richmond Park on Sunday and as I entered I saw a herd of Deer including stags with large antlers. Further down I saw a herd of fawns. The park itself is grand and beautiful.

For new visitors to London, Richmond is a entirely different face of the city. A royal hunting ground turned royal park, it possesses a 8 mile or so boundary enclosing rough parkland, carefully cultivated gardens, the occasional historic site and herds of deer. It shows the local landscape before the metropolis that now surrounds it.
