We have had a lovely morning strolling around delamere forest .my boys enjoyed running through the the woods and exploring. The trails are easy to access and take from an hour to three hours long. They are colour coded and there are signs as you...More

Shame about the cafe which is far too small to cope with the number of visitors on a nice day ! Otherwise a number of interesting viewpoints and landscapes with ample parking. Definitely worth a wonder .

We started on our bikes and were out of the way of most people. However we wanted to get back to the blue cycle route, a route for cyclists. Well, obviously there was the usual snide attitude from walkers who insist their group walks side...More

Lovely place for a quiet walk. Also good for kids to burn off some energy! Easy to find secluded places and there is a picnic area too.

Lovely autumnal walk here in the sunshine. Plenty of parking considering the amount of people there. Queues not too bad for the toilets considering amount of people but couldn't say that about the ice cream counter. Huge queue with only one girl serving. Considering it...More

Quite simply the kids loved it. Lovely autumn day made it very busy but parking was easy. Trail wasn't too difficult for smaller ones with never more than one or two people ahead at each stop. Make sure you download the App before you go.
