Have had this art trail on the list for a long time but the weather always got in the way. This time, though, the weather smiled. The trail offers an interesting and varied range of sculptures and installations. There a lot more to it than you initially realise. The trail and boardwalks have been well planned and maintained. It isn't... More

We visited today after passing by several days ago and were recommended to visit, and I'm happy to say we were not sorry we did. There are over 50 sculptures on a fantastic setting - ponds, woods, fields and boarded walkways. One steepish stepped climb only, all the rest accessible to most people of any age - dogs are also... We popped in to Brick Bay Winery whilst exploring the area with grandparents and 3 kids under 11. We didn't do the trail but enjoyed the wine tasting and then sat and had another glass of wine and bowl of chips for the kids. Very well set up and well thought out. Staff and service great.

I love this place and frequent annually. Amazing building, sculptures and landscape. However todays trip was a bit disappointing. The majority of the big sculptures have been there for quite a while, so there was little new to see....so we got bored. Plus the food we sampled was overpriced for the amount we got. If you haven't been before, its... More

Amazing trail in the nature. Nice sculptures perfectly in harmony with the landscape to experience the kiwi culture. If you're passing through, I highly recommend a stop here and after the trail you should enjoy a glass of wine produced from them and relax in this great place

Would have liked to see more sculptures and some more affordable; some are $85k. Ouch. Tracks and board walks are well maintained make sure you walk up to the end of the kauri forest

Not just great artwork, but a beautiful site for a walk - lake, grapevines, even a Kauri forest. Takes about 2 hours to do it justice, but you can relax with a snack and delicious Brick Bay wine after 😊

Visited here on Saturday afternoon, planning to have lunch and then a look round the sculptures. The restaurant couldn't fit us in straight away so we wandered around the scupltures first. It took up a very pleasant hour and a bit and we were rushing a bit at the end to get to our table booking. An easy walk amoingst... More

Enjoyable walk, though I don't think we have enough of an appreciation of modern art to truly appreciate the sculptures there. Cost is $12 per person, pathway passes approximately 50 sculptures and you get a handy leaflet explaining each piece. Walk was through native bush and grassland.

Had a lovely walk around the sculpture trail. Even though they had had lots of rain, it was still an interesting trail to do. Well done to those who had designed it and the sculptures. Glad I took my map to refer too.
