We came specifically for the sculpture trail, however encountered the worst service from the manager. Must have gotten out of bed on the wrong side.

64 pieces of sculpture make up this trail around the farm, restaurant and vineyard. A leaflet gives pictures and details which kept our 6 year old granddaughter entertained for the whole visit. Lovely walk around the lake with the water lilies in bloom. Some of the sculpture is located in shade and accessed via a purpose laid Boardwalk. Probably not... More

If you want to show off NZ to visitors to Auckland take them to this magnificent centre. If you want a meal in their superb Glass House, it would pay to book. For those who use a fitbit, the trail itself is 7,000 steps through the best of NZ bushlands across pathways with interesting moderate contours. For those who enjoy... More

We really liked this trail, a variety of pieces, great walk around a beautiful area and useful information guide. It was well worth walking up to the top of the Kauri tree walkway, there was no one up there when we were there and as well as some good interesting pieces of sculpture it is a very beautiful peaceful spot.

I travelled to this winery not for the wine but for the Sculpture trail. There are over 80 sculptures on this lovely property with open spaces, trees, uphill and downhill. Some sculptures were solid objects and some were sound installations. My favourite was a sound installation by Christchurch artist Olivia Webb. She had taken a piece by Gregorio Allegri Psalm... This is a beautiful walk around a lake and through native forest, including kauri forest, with art sculptures and installations along the way. It took us about an hour and a half, with some steps and uneven ground. Both the forest and some of the works are breathtaking. The works include some wind sculptures, and some musical installations. The forest... More
