There are several archeological museums in this region, but this one is by far the best. The museum is well presented and you can see the restored treasures from the grave of the Lord of Sipan, as well as the mummies of the Lord himself...More

Amazing museum. Not too big, but gives you all the information and beautiful object related to the find of the Lord of Sipan, the old Lord of Sipan and some other graves. Get yourself a guide, the additional information really helps. Without a guide this...More

You pretty much have to go whether interested or not. They did an excellent job with this museum though they need to get their plaque commemorating their ex president Toledo off the front. Nothing can be taken inside, including telephones, headphones, cameras, and if course...More

I was there without guide, but all was written clearly. There weren`t much foregin turists but it`s pity. In my opinion this museum is one of the best in Peru. Many artifacts and on the end realistic presentation.

The lord of Sipán Museum belongs to the worlds most impressive museums. The presentation of the finds, the setup over the different floors as a reminder how the tombs were actually burried and of course the magnificent collection. It is a pity the explanations start...More

This museum holds the three tombs discovered in Sipan with their artifacts and gold pieces. It is well organized and nothing to envy any world class museum.
