The sunset at the Tip of Borneo ('Tanjung Simpang Mengayau') is splendid. We were blessed with good weather that evening. A good time to get here is at about 5 pm, an hour or so before sunset. We had visited Kalampunian Beach first on the way here - a very beautiful white sandy beach where you would be able to... More

Lovely view over South China Sea from Globe monument on hill top. Few cafes nearby for food and drinks.

My husband and I spent 2.5 weeks travelling around Sabah and stayed at the TOB for 2 nights. It is a beautiful, peaceful spot but it is a good 3 hour drive from KK and to be honest we saw better beaches during our stay. Not worth the effort to get there in my opinion.

It's not worth... More

It was a great experience. Lots of corals and fish there. I saw a few... More

this is a good walk from the main beach and a great spot for a picnic. It was pretty busy with many visitors coming for the day and many locals alike!

Of course, no one can guarantee that the sunset will be fantastic any time and every time you go, but on our most recent trip to the Tip of Borneo, the sunset was gorgeous, unforgettable, phenomenal, and any other superlative words that you can think of. It's slightly less than 30km away from Kudat town, it will take a while... More

The location was a 3 hours drive from Kota Kinabalu town. Easy access to the place. A very nice view of the tip. The overall place were kept cleaned. It's just makes the long journey worth while when you could enjoy the beautiful scenery.
