A resort of International standards is also planned at the bottom station complex at Kurintar.

Imported from Austria, the cable car system is 100% safe with back up generator, hydraulic emergency drive, and staff qualified & trained in emergency rescue with modern rescue devices provided by the manufacturer of the cable car system.

What you can see is "just sell the tickets, get the money in - people won't complain or say anything because they have travelled from so far to worship goddess manakamana". Very rude and inefficient staff at ticket counter, kept going out without saying anything keeping the customers waiting at counter. Such... More

One of the best ways to look at the mountains and the river flowing by. Gives some of the best views and the entire ride is amazing. Not low priced though worth every bit of it.

The entire management of the cable car is amazing and people involved with its maintenance should really be thanked. The ride is exciting & thrilling. The moment you think its over, you have a mountain more to cross. It is known to be the pride of Nepal and once you see it, you would agree so. Do carry enough winter... More
