Having visited the area for a few days it was interesting to visit the Museum of Iron to understand the significance of it in the region. The museum has some great iron exhibits and is certainly worth a visit .

Visited over last weekend with a friend, and there 2hrs. Pleasant , airy, light building on two floors, lift available and good access for wheelchairs all around exhibitions.. Lots of reading material along all the walls, sometimes too much to take in, but gives an...More

As a retired teacher who has taken many school parties here in the past I was really looking forward to seeing the newly refurbished museum. I was not impressed and feel that it would be quite boring for school groups as there is too much...More

Plenty to marvel at and packed with information. The focus on the blast furnaces is fully justified. Do pay a visit.

Well laid out and presented. Once you have been to this museum, everything falls into place when you visit the other attractions in the area. After all, without iron there would be no Ironbridge!
