This is an amazing site and the owners keep in a marvelous state. When visiting, I strongly suggest bringing some historical photos or a book, then go on the beach and stand where the photo was taken. I feel that gives one a deeper connection...More

While I have visited Juno Beach several times before and have been honored to actually visit with Nicole inside her house on three separate occasions it is always heart warming to return to what is believed to be the first house liberated on Juno Beach...More

This was a great tribute to the Canadian Soldiers who landed here. The photos and the plaques were great. Then to see the kids toys in the yard made people know what they had fought for.

Some will say, "It's just a house" but if you can appreciate the history behind it then it's certainly a worthwhile thing to see. Seeing is about all you'll do and, if you can imagine what it would have been like to stand on this...More
