Reasonably priced entry to museum (2/1 OMR). It is well curated and interesting. Worth the trip, as this is my third visit. The cafe, although a little pricey, is good with friendly service. Was a shame to have no table service at those prices, though. Food was very good.

It´s interesting museum, but we were limited by time, so we didnt studied all information detaily. But you can get all necessary information about Oman history...especially I liked the historical photos.

So many different buildings, rooms, galleries to explore here. Allow yourself a good two hours minimum. I was the only person in one of the buildings (contemporary art) the whole time I was there, so, crowded? Not a bit of it. I enjoyed the mannequins with the costumes, and the musical instruments, also the outdoor falaj display and the large... More

The displays are attractively laid out and varied and interesting. They depict both cultural and historical artifacts. The display of Omani Women's dress although small is eye catching. There is a small coffee shop and extensive collection of current and older Coffee table books to review in the cool entry hall and the quirky colorful antelope on parade in the... More

Bait Al Zubair is a private museum (2 OMR pp) that provides a good overview of Omani culture/life. It's also open on Saturday. The museum presents jewelry, stamps, weapons and regional/national clothing. The museum is worth a visit and is located not far from the Omani Palace.

The Bait Al Zubair (or House of Zubair) gives and excellent insight to life in Oman. It is a private museum created by the Zubair family and is beautifully presented and contains something of interest for everyone. There is a charming model village in the garden showing how the falaj (water channel) system works and the courtyard cafe is good... More

A good one to one and a half hour of museum which can also keep older kids interested. If you are short on time skip the stamp collection. The map section is very interesting and some of the temporary exhibitions as well (animals of Oman on right now)

You will get mainly an overview of Omani culture, traditions and every day life. They also held some temporary exhibitions. Definitely a must see visit to get to know little bit more about Oman.

That is a private museum in the end of Muscat city. That is like village of old Arabin life. Good worked to save history weapon and culture. You should see the all houses for all information and knowledge of Arabin History.
