...But otherwise really not worth your time or attention. There is a very small animal park with a limited variety of supposedly prehistoric animals, including a genetically engineered cow, purportedly an auroch, and a pen full of many many goats who all look exactly like...More

We came here after visiting Lascaux. It helped enormously to understand how the people of the time lived. The children took part in a few classes, the cave painting was really fun. It's true that French only is spoken in the classes, but to be...More

Having visited Lascaux caves we decided to go to Le Thot as well, but there was no comparison in the experience. My daughter enjoyed the animals, but every activity along the way only catered for French speaking children. Therefore, she felt excluded from the cave...More

This is probably one of the most disappointing places we have been in a very long time. If you don't speak French, then don't waste your money, nothing is in English except for a couple of signs. They have workshops where you pay 4 euro...More

Just a poorly stocked zoo where most of the few animals were out of the way. No demonstrations or anything just a poorly made 3D film on a loop.

The place does not seem to cater well for non French speakers. Even though we really liked Lascaux, this was a much less successful experience...

Get a double ticket - Lascaux + Le Thot for a fab day out. There is a great interactive 3d presentation + " prehistoric mirror" where you feel you are in the presentation... Lots of animals there - all those that are represented in the...More

We got tickets for here as a joint offer either the Lascaux caves and assumed that it would be a big and impressive companion site. However, I'm still a little baffled by it! There were two great components that were really worth the effort. Firstly,...More

Crowded, with few exhibits. We wouldn't go back, it didn't add anything to the experience of Lascaux II.
