Cockington Green has been a great place to take little (and big kids) for many years. If you appreciate the detail, hard work and sense of humour that goes into these displays then you must take your family. It is a pleasant activity(except in the middle of this summer heat wave ) to do if you are visiting the Gold... More

The kids did enjoy their visit, lost interest towards the end, train ride was a highlight for them. The adults all enjoyed their visit. Very well kept and the miniatures buildings are interesting especially the international section. Train ride $3 a go (under 4 free) We did find the entry fee quite expensive for 3 adults, 1 child and 1... More

Initially thought the exhibition might be boring but it is so well done with tremendous attention to detail and is well laid out. Was a really enjoyable start to the 3 part exhibit ticket which we purchased (discounted!). A very enjoyable 2-3 hour stroll around the meticulous gardens. The addition of a few " blow-ins" to the displays shows a... More

I had taken my children here, around 15 years ago, and we loved it, they loved it. So I thought I would take my grandchildren this time. They are 6 and 2, they loved the place the little steam train ride through everything, the miniature buildings. My grand daughter just loved everything about it, everything was so small. I love... Hi Anna C, Glad that you are a repeat customer always nice to hear. Our figurines do take a beating at this time of year with the searing sun and strong winds. We do our best to repaint and stand the figures up, with a large number of them in the display, it's a never-ending task. Many Thanks More

A must see when visiting Canberra. Beautiful miniature buildings amongst immaculate gardens. The international section is a sight o see. Lovely grassed play area for kids.

This place was amazing. We all loved the small houses. The details were amazing - very talented builders! Great place for a walk!

Not much has changed about this place since I visited 40 years ago. Gardens are still lovely but the figurines and village scenes could all do with a spruce up and a coat of paint or repair. Might have had its day. Wouldn't have come except tickets were bundled in a 3 in1 with Questacon & the AIS.

Hi foodbaby2016, Disappointed you found us "Ho hum", especially in light of we have only been open to the public for 37 years not 40. We have added an International area since you 1st visited, along with growth in our wedding and Cafe areas. Maintenance is a never ending task for us. Sorry the amount of growth and hard work... Beautifully kept gardens and houses. Cute and intriguing displays with relevant information. The train ride is an extra $3 per person which is disappointing when the entrance for our family of 6 was pretty expensive.

I loved this place and so did the children. Miniature English villages, churches from times gone buy built in amongst beautiful gardens. They have an international miniature section as well where you can see famous sites from around the world. Climb aboard the steam train and have a tour around the international section.

have been here before, but a few years ago this time our son is 14 years old and he was intriqued with the way things were made and the details and read all the plaques associated with each display, he was about 4 years old the last time we took him there and I think his amazement hasn't changed.
