Great takeaway from Agrigento! Was very impressed with the condition of this temple, which felt as if I was in another place and time near the Greek Pantheon. This is probably one of the highlights of the Valley and one of the most photogenic attractions; be sure to get the right angles when you take pictures here as the building... More

The entire Valle dei Templi was a truly exciting experience, especially since we had never been to Greece. It's hard to describe how exciting seeing your first Greek temple is. Not to be missed. We drove to the parking lot, walked around for about an hour, stopped for lunch on the property (arancini and pizza) then walked maybe another hour.... More

This huge temple has been featured in man photos; I think it's on UNESCO's logo. Incredibly preserved, overwhelming in size. Take lots of photos.

If you already attended to the valley of temples, then you will see this one for sure, as it is on the way. The best saved temple from all the journey. Poorly you cannot visit inside.

This is the best preserved temple in the Valley of Temples. Columns surround the structure. It is missing a roof which allows for the sun to shine through the structure which makes it more interesting to look at on a sunny day as you can more easily see the carvings in the stone. Comfortable shoes are recommended and a bottle... More

This Temple is part of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, Sicily. One walks down the hill through an amazingly well preserved site of Greek Temples and one cannot help but be awed. In November, there were some tour groups but it was not crowded and we felt the massive history of this site.

This temple is the highlight of the Valle dei Templi in Agrigento. The best part is that you can get close enough to see the rooms inside. More complete than most of those in Greece.
