Lovely quiet beach. Plenty of restaurants around and prices are very cheap compared to Rome! Cute little place to visit.

Beautiful port and beaches within easy driving distance from the very touristic city of Rome. This port and beaches next to it are popular by the locals and you will notice that you are in the right place since you probably hear only Italian spoken along the beach.

Bigger than expected with cargo, passenger, sailb and fishing boats. Lively but calm with large number of restaurants and cafebars along the quay. Well worth a stroll.

We went to the port to see the remnants of the landing during WWll. The beach is so peaceful and filled with fishermen returning from the sea and cleaning their boats.. It is very busy, boats leaving from the post, people everywhere, a fun place...

Just too amazing beach to have a break from the scorching heat. Beautiful clean beach and family friendly. One can hire an umbrella with 2 sun beds for around 12 euros. Kids inflatables and paddle boats are also available. Snack bar offers coffees, ice creams, drinks on very reasonable prices. A must visit for everyone coming to Rome..!!

... and we were not disappointed at all... Accomodation fine, beaches are great, the harbour is a place I can enjoy almost daily - fisherman repairing their nets, the Italians having their chats, the small and bigger fishing-oats going in and out - the seagulls, the sailors sorting the fish - everything is always changing - and still the same... We stayed at the Stella Marina where we rented 2 umbrellas and 4 chairs. They seemed to take care of the place and because it wasn't exactly cheap, it wasn't extremely busy. The water is clear and a nice break from the chaos of Rome. The regional train ride was not expensive and it didn't take long to get here.... More

We arrived as a group late morning to see the history of the port and the beaches. The port is quite large and at one end there is a memorial to the soldiers who lost their lives all in English. Very interesting. The 'promenade' was full of people and I suspect that in the evening it is the place to... More
