The Zeni winery is located on the first hill beside the city center of Bardolino. From 1870 the Zeni Families have been dedicated in to the growing of the local vines and in to the production of the veronese classical wines. This wines are: Bardolino, Custoza, Lugana, Soave and Valpolicella, where inside the classical area the family has one more winery. From 1991 inside the winery in Bardolino is located the Wine Museum, a collection and proof of the local and ancient veronese wine tradition. The Wine Museum and adjacent Vinoteca are free entry for all individual visitors. For groups of 10 or more people the reservation is required. For both individual visitors and groups we required the reservation also for the visit of the entire winery.

We enjoyed the museum with its historical wine making equipment as well as being able to see the modern bottle filling machinery at work. The tasting room provided us with a free glass to sample a range of Zeni everyday wines, white, red and rose. We found the Valpolicella was our favourite but we wanted to try a Bardolino Superiore.... More

It looks very nice, there are some stuff contected with the wine producing. Also You can see the new technology - how is wine botteled today. I think that good plus is that there is a free entry. Also You can test the produced wine and ofcourse buy some 6packs. Unfortunetly my opinion is that everything is just to sell... More

This place was okay, the museum was kind of cool but small. Also, they had a window where you could watch them bottle wine but nothing happened. We just watched 2 guys walk back and forth. Maybe we got there too early. The lady at the counter was nice and gave us plenty of free samples, but I feel like... More

Dear Johnny, Thanks for your interest in our cellar. We are really glad about your visit of our wine museum. As you have wrote, there's also a sort of window to our bottling-line, a very important part of our technical area. In this way also w/o a guided tour our guests can come closer not only to our traditions but... More

This winery has a very well displayed museum of wine making and can provide excellent guides. There are galleries with many artefacts to view and good written information. A wine tasting in the large basement wine cellar is worth the extra price incurred and there is the opportunity to purchase wine at the end of your tour.

A short tour of the wine museum, a quick look through a glass wall at the working bottling line, followed by a tutored tasting accompanied by an excellent selection of bread, cold meats and cheeses in a magnificent cellar. As you might expect you exit through the shop where you can purchase a wide variety of the company's produce.

We benefited from an organised tour of this clean and efficient winery. It began with a guided walk around the small and interesting museum, and an outdoor viewing of some of the vineyards. I enjoyed visiting the Zeni Winery and Wine Museum. The people were very nice and you can see the machine that bottles the wine. You have a free tasting of 8-10 different wines! It's not a big place but it's very very nice.
