The Plose - with its 2300 meters - is the dominant mountain of Brixen. A bus is going to the Plose two times a day. The Plose is very good for wandering, but there you can also find some good restaurants, and you can find a few alpin chalets with an extraordinary good southtirolean food!

trail to the first ski cabin is perfectly fine, after this one we had to walk through fresh snow ourselved. Wished the weather was better but the entire area/region is highly impressive in any case.

Take the ski lift cabins up to 2000m to an area where you can walk another 500m or so to the top, where you will enjoy mountain lodges with yummy and affordable Tiroler food (and beer) and above all, downright amazing views of the Dolomites. Superb experience guaranteed.

Use the Brixen card and go up for free. There are buses from Bressanone so it's easy to get there. A pity about the scratches on the cable car windows but even so it is a great view as you ascend and descend.

We visited Mount Plose on July 2016. We were two families with teenagers. We use the cable car, which is great and takes you to the main area From the main area, it is possible to take hikes. There are many hikes to choose from. We took the hike to Rossalm and when down via the woodywalk The Inn at... More

This was a nice adventure day for me as I went hiking. The trails are easy and it is very family friendly as I saw many children in strollers..

We walked up to the Ochsenalm via route 30 in 65min instead of 1,5 hours, continuing on path 6 and 4b down to the start of the cable ground station. The route down was significantly longer than mentioned in the brochure. 2,5 hours instead of 2 and quit steep. Not for untrained hikers. Very nice track through the woods.

Simply stunning! The Dolomites are so majestic. At every turn we encountered a more breathtaking view. you can walk for hours and see an amazing view plus attractions and play wood for kids and adults and the Carting at the end is the most enjoyable thing!!

Great ride up the cable car, good views and some really nice hikes. Good food and drink when you come back to the main area.

Even if you're not an experienced walker you can do the "woody walk " great for kids with lots of activities along the way. Kids will love it. The walk takes you to Rosalm where you can relax on the sunbeds and taste local foods. Along the way there are fantastic views of the Dolomites....Breathtaking views.
