Walked towards the coastline from the old city and found a spot along the pier. It was a perfect location for photo opportunities that captured the traditional small town along the Mediterranean coast - postcard perfect.

Our tour group was on the way from Catania to Palermo via the northern shore of Sicily. We first stopped in Messina for 2 hours. After a couple more hours of travelling west, we stopped in Cefalu, also for only about 2 hours. We parked next to the towering and impressive looking lighthouse under pretty-looking, massive cliffs. Without doubt, it... More

We were staying not too far away from Cefalu. Visited it twice during our stay in Sicily. A charming little town with a promenade alongside the beach. There are things to see, - the old streets, the Cathedral square and the Cathedral itself, the old medieval wash-house to mention just a few. Easy to get to Palermo and there is... More

Nice, clean, waterfront, medieval fishing village. This is a good place to stop. Easy to see in a day. The duomo is a must see.

Lovely place to visit. Food is great and the beaches are great. Make sure you visit the Duomo and eat the fabulous gelato.

Pretty seaside strolling along the coast with some beaches. Great place for vistas and photo-taking. Some seafront dining.

We are not beach people, so Cefalu is certainly picturesque, but wasn't the highlight of all the towns we visited in Sicily. We luckily came in November, so avoided the summer crowds. The Duomo is impressive as are the cliffs overlooking the town. Take the time and walk the twisting streets as there are surprises around every corner. Good for... More
