Hands up!
Jun 2021 • Couples
Very convenient location, comfy setting, good service.

We ordered (this time) 2 coffees. Both were really bad, poor quality and we spent a “fortune” (6,5€).
I don’t really mind to spend that money for coffee in S. Marco, Capri, Rome, Florence, Positano...and even on a street bar in Forte as long as the quality is excellent as it should be for that spending.

Poor, not worth even the time

Loved it!
Jul 2018 • Couples
It feels to me, this place has remained one of the authentic sites in Forte dei Marmi. The interior is like stuck in the 1950s, the outdoor space overlooks one of the fancy streets.
Staff is young, efficient and very kind.
We ordered two sundaes, delicious!!!
Can't wait to go back.

Horrible
Sep 2017
Waited 30 minutes for the kids' gelato! Perhaps the most expensive coffee in Italy - Paid 6 euros for an espresso. A horrible experience from a-z.

The Best Versilan Waiter: Supe Mario's Waiter!
Aug 2017 • Couples
As usual from the last 20 days, this evening we stop at Principe to get the after dinner.
A young waiter, Mario, a little beat sweated, arrive and ask directly without say hallo what we wish to order;
My wife ordered one “Affogato al Caffè” and I ordered one ice cream.
Pistachio and I asked for more tastes available.
Super Mario waiter told me: all the others! (tutti gli altri).
So I confirm I wish currant (ribes).
He look at me and ask: what is currant?
I answer: it’s a fruit.

He becomes immediately upset and start to misbehave telling that he was working and asking me if I was there to drink or to broke his balls (sei venuto a bere o a rompere i coglioni?).
I call the director, I explain the situation, but Super Mario Waiter restart to miss behave…

Moral of the history, very good quality, very nice ice cream, and if you want to prove the Best Versilian Waiter, Super Mario, please ask for him.

This is not funny. This is the behavior of some people here, there is NO RESPECT and NO EDUCATION!
UNACCETTABLE BUT WELCOME IN THIS NEW ITALIAN GENERATION!

The most expensive cafè in Fortè Dei Marmi
Jul 2017 • Couples
Trendy cafè in good location. However, I had an average double espresso and paid Eu 6 ‼️
So the next morning I went to another cafè that looked very popular, we had 3 coffees and 2 croissants for Eu 7:50 ‼️ When I went back to ask Principe why so expensive versus the
Eu 7:50 they said the owner was crazy and makes them charge crazy prices ‼️ That would explain the two gin and tonics the prior evening for Eu 32 ‼️ I have no problem paying a lot for something that's superb, this cafè was not superb.

The local meeting point
Apr 2017 • Friends
Come for breakfast or for aperitivo, it's always a pleasure to see and be seen at Principe. The Espresso is decent, the Tramezini are fresh and the Aperol Spritz refreshing. Very good ice cream too. Service is unpretentious but if they know you it's a plus. The right stop before or after shopping in the heart of Forte dei Marmi.

Nice place but quite touristic
Jul 2017 • Family
The quality of food and beverages is ok so far, but its not worth the price. The service has potential for improvement.

Old-fashioned but trendy
Aug 2016 • Couples
Well first of all you have to know that you are in Forte.. So prices are not the point. Principe is oldest and most popular caffe for morning coffee and to see and be seined, so if you wanna have fun watching all people passing by and sit in old fashioned caffe this is place to be! Nice I have to say...
