A place worth a stop if you find a parking spot and the place is open (check opening times). Some of the frescoes are still vivid as painted just few years ago. Excellent food the risotto is to die for, great place to eat the personal very friendly, I highly recommend this restaurant the location is outside the city of Maiori parking very limited, great view.

This religious site was located at the back of the house which we rented. We saw some of the artefacts through the spaces in the back garden wall. The rental was spectacular building nestled into a cave that had tons of character. The house was comfortable, clean and spacious and had everything we could have wanted, and more! There were... The Sunflower guide gives directions for walking from Maiori to Santa Maria de Olearia which makes a wonderful excursion (though you could drive). The walk takes you high above the coast and then you descend to this little chapel which is on 3 levels, each of which gets progressively more richly frescoed and delightful as you ascend.
