Really expensive would definitely recommend the bus to anyone, the time table was also an abstract concept and vaguely followed.

Fabulous ferry. 20 minutes and you can see land all the time. Went across for a day out in Limeone and also went there at night to watch a fabulous Dire Straits tribute act.

The ferry service to and from Malcesine to Limone and Riva is very good and quite punctual. You have great views of Lago di Garda and the towns, all within 30-45min. of travelling time.

Spend the day cruising the lake from one town to another and back to Malcesine. Each town has it's own unique character. Stop for lunch and enjoy the lake views. A perfect way to spend most of a day.

All the 3 cities are great! I was living in Limone. To Riva it is better to go by car. But Malcesine-Limone it is the best way of travelling. Return ticket is about 10-12 EUR per adult. The view from the ferry are amazing!

A short trip and not expensive. It gets you over and back with no frills and is much easier than driving all the way round. Whichever way you go both places are worth a visit.

The boat from the little harbour in Malcesine costs 9 euros return, there are two boats all have yellow seating to show they go to alimony. Don't take the larger ferry as this is more expensive, no return tickets just one way. The crossing takes...More
