One of those amazing sights you will never forget. And seeing it lit up at night from the town of Maratea (which sits below the statue on the mountain) is just incredible.

Visit in the morning as it gets busier as the day goes on. I dread to think what it’s like during high season but it is well worth the drive and the climb up the steps for the panoramic views. Stunning

We were fortunate to visit when it was quiet and it is a stunning statue with fabulous views across the sea and mountains.

Parked in the parking lot but the shuttles weren't running. So we paid and walked up . Anyway the view was amazing and no crowds ( off season).

Beautiful hiking trail to the top especially at sunset. Well worth the effort. The beginning of the trail is hard to find.
