We visited the hop farm yesterday (mid week) just for a few hours out in the sun. There was literally nothing open apart from the children's farm and park. We were told this on entry. The place looks really tired and run down and some...More

We visited this place today with our daughter and grandson. It is somewhere we visited on many occasions when our children were younger and it was known as the Whitbread Hop Farm. At that time it was a great place to go and in excellent...More

Having visited here as a child many times with my parents. We were in the area so went to visit. Really wish we hadn’t bothered! The place is run down and not a patch on what it used to be. I can honestly say we...More

We thought we’d give the Hop Farm a try as the advertising always seems well out together and pricing seemed very reasonable. The only decent part of the day was the extremely polite and helpful ladies on the entry point - otherwise what a n...More

Was worried after seeing the reviews but we honestly had an amazing time!! We have an age 2 and age 4 year old, and the rides were perfect for them. All the staff were lovely, from the reception to the men running the rides. They...More

Cheap £3 entrance. That’s where it ended. Rides old not working properly and expensive. Staff all looked miserable. Animals sad and sparse. Taps not working to wash hands after. Very disappointing

We went two years ago for their pirate themed day. It was really good. This time they now charge £3 per person for entry and then the rides and attractions are very expensive on top. The park was water logged meaning that the included outside...More

Looks like it was great in the 1980s, sadly not a great experience for 2018. You pay an entry fee then have to pay extra for the activities. There is a farm but the animals didn't look too healthy. There is a weird historic section...More

It was expensive to get in, particularly considering that most 'activities' once inside required the purchase of additional tokens, which were also over-priced. Many activities were not even open when we visited over the bank holiday weekend. The majority of staff seemed miserable and were...More

Hi unfortunately I am unsure. When we purchased a meerkat experience they were pretty laid back about letting us walk around the animal enclosure and the facilities after.
