Recommended by an Italian friend and a very enjoyable few hours. An excellent and quite technical tour of the vines, drying rooms (Malvasia, Trebbiano and Sangiovese for the amazing dessert wines) and cellars for their other red wines ( the wines are made in another of their 9 estates) followed by an excellent 4 course lunch accompanied by their excellent... Our hotel recommended that we visit this winery. We did not realize that you need a reservation to do pretty much everything there. So, we did not get to tour the winery, or have lunch. We were able to sit on their very nice porch area and taste the wines and have a meat and cheese plate, which was great.... More

Stopped in here for a nice tour and really good multi-course lunch with wine pairings. I would give Banfi the nod in terms of overall approach, but this was a solid experience.

The ride to the vineyard was stunning. We were there at the end of September with great weather. The other couple who was scheduled to take part in our tour didn't show up so we had the guide to ourselves and this proved to be a blessing. We learned so much about the wine making process as well as the... More

My fiance and I were staying in Tuscany for a few days with a rented car and wanted to take a drive to one of the wineries to see the Tuscan countryside and sit alongside some vineyards. We came across this listing and all of the wonderful reviews and decided to go because it was about a half hour drive.... More

Booked a midday wine tour followed by lunch and wine tasting. It is a mandatory wine experience if you're visiting the tuscany. Everything was top quality, from the service, food, tour, wine and shops. High gastronomy experience with an amazing view and service with a great selection of their wines. It is worth every cent you pay and it was... More

This looks expensive at E95 each but actually it is worth ever penny. The tour takes around 45 mins and is excellent (max 18 guests) and is followed by a very high quality 4 course meal with tastings of the wines you have talked about. I say tastings but in fact the wine flowed much more freely than the word... More

We did a cooking class followed by a wine tour and then an amazing lunch at Avignonesi. David, the chef for our cooking class was very knowledagable and very helpful in preparing some very typical italian dishes. We have been on many wine tours and we learned more on this tour than any other we have been on, the guide... More

The Avignonesi wine tour was great. This is a fully organic and bio dynamic winery. Having been on many wine tours this was really the first one that spent time really explaining the growing process and the consant experimentation that they do to make the perfect wine. The lunch was perfectly paired with wonderful wines. The highlite was the 2001... More
