Very interesting tour of the tuscan archipelago. Well kept boat and well skippered. The return from Corica was memorable with a strong wind driving us back to elba. Plenty of time to snorkel, the marinas were interesting and the food and wine excellent. The walk from Macinaggio to Barcaggio on the Corsican finger was an adventure initself. Salah has a number of boats which are all in excellent order. He took great pains to ensure we had a great time but was mindful of our safety. We will certainly be going back next year

On a recent trip to Rome, Florence and Venice I was looking for something to do along the coast. Being an avid boater I wanted to see Italy from the water. I found a day trip to sail around Elba Island that we chartered for us and the other couple we were traveling with. What a treat it turned out to be. We boarded a 45' sailing yacht for the 4 of us, along with Captain Salah and his lovely wife Silvia. They were so nice and friendly, it wasn't like hiring a sailing service. It was more like we were just 6 friends out for the day of sailing. We stopped along the way in a beautiful cove, dropped anchor and swam and snorkeled in the most beautiful water. It was slightly cool, but it was well worth getting in. On board they prepared appetizers, beer and wine and then topped that off with a freshly made lunch of pasta, prawns and lobster. It was outstanding. Afterwards we took a nice relaxing sailing cruise on our way back to port. What a great way to end the day. The owners (Salah and Silvia) could not have been any nicer and were very knowledgeable about the island, the culture and all of the other questions we threw at them. If you're ever down that way, I would highly recommend spending a day relaxing and sailing in the Mediterranean. If you do, please tell our friends Salah and Silvia we said hello.

I recently returned from a two week trip to Italy. We did the normal touristy things in Rome, Venice and Tuscany, so when my travel partners told me they had charted a sailboat for the day i wasnt sure what to expect. I am not a boat person by any means and have only gone boating a handful of times. We arrived on Elba Island and were met by Salah Wardi and his wife Silvia they drove us to the marina and we boarded a 45ft sailboat. I was in awe of the beauty of the surrounding Islands and the bluest water i have ever seen. Salah and Silvia are the owners and operators of the Wardi Navi Service and both were very professional and made us feel welcomed. I was especially pleased at the service they offered throughout the day...they prepared a nice spread of antipasti for us to snack on then prepared an amazing lunch of pasta with lobster and prawns for us to enjoy. They both were very knowledgable of the Island and its surroundings and took much pride in their business. I spent the most relaxing and enjoyable day ....it was nice not to worry about anything that day Salah and Silvia took care of us and i really want to thank them. for us to enjoy

I recently returned from week long sailing trip in the Tuscan Arcipelego with my wife and parents. Elba was so different from some of the other areas I have sailed in (mostly the Caribbean). Everything about traveling there was amazing. The ports and small towns around the island are picturesque, rich is history, with incredibly wine and culinary treats throughout! Some of the islands near Elba, are great little desitnations as well. We did a bareboat charter with Wardi Navi Service, and I have to admit is was one of the most professional outfits I have ever rented a sailboat from. It was created by Salah Wardi, and it is a smaller charter company. Salah the owner is also the operator, so you notice the higher level of service and personal care that he puts in and that I haven't often seen in the Caribbean from the bigger tour operators like Moorings, BVI or Kiriacoulis. The boat we rented was in excellent shape, and seemed like new. If you are a sailor and have not tried this destination with this outfitter, I cannot recommend it enough. We did an off season sail in winter and were fortunate to have pretty good weather, but I think the best times to go would be spring, summer and fall. I believe they also do skippered charters for those who want to have a sailing vacation, but cannot do it alone.
