This was a wonderful surprise! We weren't able to go to the Blue Grotto and this was a beautiful and special place to see! Bonus --- there is a spectacular ceramic shop across the street. Note: parking is an issue.

Not worth stopping unless your really board, the views are nice but the grotto itself is very small an all you do is float around being rowed in an old wooden boat in a cave that's approx 50 ' in diameter listening to the "captain" say imagination!!! Well you need lots of imagination for this tour keep your $$$$$.

I visited the cave during a tour of a day along the Amalfi Coast, I was really curious but now I can sa!ydo not stop! It's not worth it, it's just a tourist place with an endless waits to visit just a cave on an awkward raft!

Wasn’t sure about visiting here and on reading the reviews and seeing the ratings, which were evenly spread over the whole range, from terrible to excellent, it didn’t make the decision any easier. We were going to Amalfi for the day anyway, via the ferry from Salerno and the Emerald Grotto was only a 15 minute bus trip from Amalfi.... More

We rented a boat to tour the Amalfi Coast and this was a brief stop. Nice to see but I would not make plans to go here as the only stop.

Don't waste your time or money and skip this useless "attraction". The first thing the "captain" says is don't forget to tip your captain even after giving them 5 euros each for 5 minutes. Nothing of interest here

Ok you won't pay much, but you will lose your time. There is strictly just one cave room to visit, on a small boat, and that room is couple of meters wide. The colour of the water is indeed emerald, and there is little baby Jesus artificial to see, but really, just go somewhere else for your time on the... More

It is really a great value for your ten Euros, but don't build up anyone's expectations for the grotto itself. Interesting, but easy to skip. However, the boat ride over and back for 10 E is a great value, making tghe whole trip well worthwhile. Especially if you want to take pictures of the city of Amalfi and the coastline,... More

Not really worse. Yet for those who are in the area and have missed (as we did due the weather) the Grotta Azzurra at Abacapri may stop by just mark of seeing it. I't's only about 4 min. of 'nothing to write home about' whille the 'captain' speaks 80% of the time of not to forget to tip him... The... More
