We're just back from a week in Aura Guest House, most of it spent just relaxing by wandering round Ibla. We spent one day exploring the upper town (nowhere near as picturesque) and one day we went to Modica on the bus and another to...More

We really loved our two night stay here. Very atmospheric, and much nicer than Ragusa itself. Beware if you don't like stairs! OK getting down to the old town, but if you need to go back up, definitely take a local bus! it was beautiful.

It is a lovely area to explore but on the day we were there non of the Villas were open so you basically just wander around until it is time for lunch.

A busy place and very hilly but a good visit especially Ibla. Avoid having a car! Streets narrow and lots of one way roads

A Saturday afternoon visit. A fun drive from Ortigia visiting the town of Ragusa. Great restaurant (da Luigi), visit to the old town and duomo.

If you are planning a visit to Sicily this is not to be missed. The Upper Ragusa town is not so interesting but Ragusa Ibla, the lower town, is a mixture of picturesque narrow streets and eighteenth century architecture. Full of UNESCO listed churches and...More

Yep, you can find street parking everywhere in Ragusa and also in Ragusa Ibla but you'd better rent a small car because the streets are very narrow! There is also plenty of parking outside the walls of Ragusa Ibla so you can... More

Not sure if it’s too late to respond? But we stayed around the corner from the bus stop in Ibla ( much more scenic than upper Ragusa) in an amazing Airbnb owned by Biagio. There is a restaurant in the hotel across the street... More
