I strongly recommend descending towards Ragusa Ibla from the bigger and more sprawling Ragusa. That way you get the amazing views of the town perched on top of its rocky outcrop. There are pedestrian steps (Le Scale) and they are not overly challenging. We parked...More

who would have expected it, after having traveled all over Sicily there were places like this to be discovered? This little town is very well kept, very clean compared to other surrounding areas,

Liked the town and lovely Hyblean Gardens, adjacent to which there is the wonderful hotel and great restaurant Antico Convento dei Cappucini, which is an oasis of peace in historic walls.

Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area. Visited in March when it was very quiet and peaceful. Friendly place.

Highly recommend for discovering baroque architecture and the many narrow lanes. It’s quite amazing to see how this city was built. Note that you need to walk up or down the stairs from Ragusa Ilba to Ragusa Superiore unless you take a bus; steady legs...More

From the wonderful view from the top of St. Maria de la Scala to the Piazza del Duomo; and everything in between, this is a great place to wander and enjoy.
