Good place to visit
Jun 2019 • Family
We went there by bicycle. It is a good place for some good photos, but the ocean was very dirty (like the water in all the beach’s around).

One of my favourite sites in Sottomarina
Aug 2018 • Couples
Sottomarina beach can be very crowded and while the waters and sand aren't anything special, walking all the way to the Diga, you almost feel in a different place. The white colours of the rocks, the blue sky and waters create a gorgeous scenario, really worth a visit if you are in town. I love the little huts on the side and while they offer just average food, the scenary is magical and worth the experience.

Nice place to walk with a nice view on the sea. On the other side of the town is another place to have a walk with a nice view of the sea.

Lovely lovely place to be 🏖

No too much of a walk for all ages and ability. The suggestion is to walk it wearing something on your feet...ahaha i walked it bare foot and loved it but it might be too rough for some.
There are enough sits for everyone at the end of the diga when you get to a mini light "house" 👍

Best thing in Sottomarina

Super place to have a longer walk, very breezy and relaxing. I imagine it must be great relief during the heat in summer.

Nice walk
Aug 2017 • Family
Really nice walk here. It's on the way to public beach so you can't miss it ;)
Many rocks, beautiful sea, men fishing. Nice, summer atmosphere.
There is some bar where you can buy ice cream or cold drinks.

Optimum views with excellent sea air perfume.
you can eat food fish in a little fisherman house. The fish is capture it with fishnets direcly in the sea and you can see all procedures, very interesting for my kids.
In front of diga, start a very long beach for about 15Km. You can walk for all the distance, obviously is forbidden to pass by bike or car in the beach.
The beach is near Chioggia: this town is very famous in past, have a big history and today's also a most important fisherman city, with a hospital too.
Every day there's some pubblic vaporetto (actv) for Venice Sant Mark square: remember in Venice is forbidden swimming.

Nice place for a walk and an afternoon on the beach
Jul 2016 • Couples
Took some bicycles from our hotel in Chioggia, to cycle to Sottomarina for a lazy afternoon on the beach. We first walked the dam way into the sea, and then spent some time on the beach, sun and swimming. The walk was nice, and the beach was clean, despite not being on the "exploited" parts of the beach. Strangely enough, it seems like dogs are still allowed on the beach in Sottomarina. Some dark clouds forced us to pack and go back to our hotel.

Nice walk outside Sottomarina
Oct 2015 • Solo
This is a long dam for an easy walk with the view of the Adriatic sea. It is very refreshing and usually quite. The walkway has been recently improved. It was a little dirty in places
