Not as prominent or ostentatious as many other Italian churches, this is unique with an interesting layout and some fabulous frescoes. Very friendly congregation.

Somewhere hidden at the square is this very old Parrocchia. The inside looks relatively dull, but you have to imagne that this is very old and stillsome very very old paintings are to be seen on the pillars and walls.

Spoleto's a great town and besides the old town and all it has to offer, in the newer part of town, we happened upon this beautiful church with it's wonderful frescoes. We parked right outside, The square can be lively, and it's fun to watch the locals and kids meeting and hanging out. This church is a peaceful get away... More

The Church of Saint Gregory is fascinating on many counts. Its impact is immediate with a street level fresco outside and a powerful host of the same throughout the interior. And then there's the lower level, with a whole other feel to it: equally in culture, faith and time. I cannot help but feel almost everyone who doesn't pass this... More

It has been the first monument I have noticed in Spoleto. Outside, you cannot loose the frescos in the Chapel of the Innocents, before going into the church. Then, inside, you'll appreciate a mix of styles: in fact, on the romanic style, they have inserted also gotic and baroque elements.

We attended a wedding ceremony in this church and were impressed with the artworks and beautiful wrought iron. The church has recently been restored and is worth visiting before doing any shopping in Corso Garibaldi. The frescoes are particularly eye-catching.
