This is the city hall from olden days. It is a very nice structure with some great iron pieces incorporated into it.

What great views and artwork on show. Caution... avoid being up the tower on the hour mark as you will be deafened- was funny though.

Varied museum with several points of interest including the bell tour for views over the town. Could have done with more English explanations.

Facade with cornices and glazed terracotta plaques. The council room has amazing frescoes. Wooden ceiling withstood centuries of time. Climb up is worth it. Outside there was a huge square where racing cars were parked. Lots of Alabaster shops all around.

While in Volterra, you really should visit this building. It is an important feature of Volterra. It didn't knock my socks off, but is definitely worth seeing.

It is the oldest municipal hall in Tuscany /13th century/. Inside you can see paintings, arms and sculptures. From outside is the building different from original design.
