About
We are a unique small batch brewery, creating over 170 brand new beers a year. We love brewing & perfecting classic styles, but are probably best known for creating some of the most interesting & flavoursome beers in the country. In 2014 we were awarded Runner Up "Champion Small Australian Brewery" at the Australian International Beer Awards. In 2016 we became the only brewery to twice win the prestigious "Peoples Choice Award" at the annual Great Australian Beer Spectapular (GABS), a competition attracting over a 100 breweries from around the world vying to brew the best "specialty Beer" for the Festival. We are also a cellar door for Ballandean Estate Wines, the Granite Belts oldest winery. Open 5 days a week, we now have 20 taps pouring our amazing beers & cider plus dozens more available by the bottle for drink in or takeaway. We are BYO food on Wednesdays, with our Pizza Kitchen opening Friday to Sunday with Food Trucks Thursday through Sunday. Live music Thursdays & Sundays.

Greatest beers, ever

I've been slack reviewing Ross's great beers. I've been drinking them for at least 10 years now and never been disappointed. If you don't visit Bacchus brewing at least once you are missing out on a GREAT experience.
My greatest regret is how far away I live these days - I need to book accomodation!

What a great find

Bacchus was recommended to us by friends so after lunch we thought we’d try it out. Not easy to find but we’ll worth it. Beer and wine were very good. Staff were great and my husband loved the Jimmy Hendrix music! We will definitely be back to sample a few more.

This place has a good variety of craft beers and is a family friendly environment. Very relaxed and is ideal for a Sunday session.

Great selection of real beer

Lots of choice for beer. If hungry try the ribs - lots of them and very sticky.

Sometime there is a food truck ( different each week )

Beers and Pizza in a relaxed family friendly atmosphere !

Enjoy the company of your friends in a casual, relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Sample different flavours of craft beer and fresh site baked pizzas, food truck & musicians available some evenings ! It can get very busy Friday and Saturday evenings so book a table (minimum 6) if you don't want to be disappointed.

great place for a Sunday Sess

We have been many times and always enjoy the very relaxed atmosphere. Staff are always friendly and helpful. range of beer is fantastic. Their pizzas are just enough when you would like a little something with your beer,and the specialist food trucks they get are reasonably priced and a good variety. Last sunday of the month they have an open mic afternoon which brings out some good talent. There is always something on they are on face book which lets you know up and coming events.

Tasting Paddles with multiple choices

We were inviting to attend on a sunny Sunday Afternoon for Fathers day. There was some guitar music with a great vocalist playing in the background, not intrusive, easy to listen too. We had no idea what we were going to and we find out that this was a little bit special because of Fathers Day (they had a jumping castle for the kids). There was a food van (apparently they change these around), the place served food (nice food too) and the tasting paddle consisted of 5 decent size choices for $20 and there was a large selection to choose from. We had no idea the brewery existed and neither did a lot of other locals we asked. A very nice surprise and a pleasant Sunday Afternoon.

Excellent atmosphere, food and beer

We went to Bacchus Brewery for a relaxing Sunday Afternoon with friends. The ambiance was fabulous, the staff was very pleasant, the food was heavenly and the beer was cold. They have several different types of beer even including one beer that was 1.15% so the driver can have a beer and not be affected. Your furry friend is welcome there.

Always good for an easy afternoon drink

This is s great spot.
Family friendly, relaxed and a good vibe.
They often have food trucks Friday nights, music and lots of fun.
The beer is good, all brewed in-house.
Pizzas are quite nice too

An enjoyable evening

We visited Bacchus for the first time so we were not sure what to expect. The barman explained all the different beers and he was very knowledgable. We ate delicious ribs and we shall definitely return
