Thus pier is where you go to catch most of the boat tours to other islands. It's also the central part of Tourist section of Arcachon. You can watch the sunset from here. There is usually live music in the evening in summertime. The beaches...More

We walked around to admire the vistas and it was very romantic. The breeze and the sun made it rather enjoyable. Arcachon looks like a paradise from here. It is one of the spots not to be missed if you want to explore the area....More

Enjoyed a walk along the promenade and Jetty after lunch. The carousel restored from 1900 is interesting. It is the only double story carousel we have seen. The views of the bay and surrounds are good from the jetty.

Walked this pier after lunch not very long but a nice view of the beach and the Ferris wheel. Benches along the way you can sit and watch people stroll by
