Dark sand, little cove created artificially with wave breakers. Excellent and popular place, no room to change but excellent showers. Sea was clean. Easy to park around

We headed for the beach with our teenagers. Had all sorts of French beaches over the years, this one was fantastic! Head out of town (West) a little. Here we parked up for free all day which is a bonus. The beach was totally sandy...More

Not the most delightful or attractive seaside town. There is no where from the town that the beach or sea can be seen and enjoyed. This may be to do with the low land or more likely poor town planning. So, many of the very...More

Lovely sea, great sand. Really nice place to be with kids, shallow water for the first 20-30 meters or so.

Beaches were clean and the water was crystal clear, water was warm, and the man made coves made bathing safe. Ideal for families.

First it is hard to get a parking spot. Like the little city, the beach area is littered with garbage. Many police patrols, and quite unpleasant tourist. Lots of cheap eats and souvenir shops.

Arrived today, 19th May and the place was mobbed with gypsies. They are all gathering for their famous big bash for a few days around the 25th May. The town looked like one great big trailer park. If you're staying, good luck!! In my opinion,...More

There are some depending on the area you are in and the wind. We rode horseback out on the dunes and along the beach and didn't encounter any at all until we went behind the dunes and into the marsh areas. We had on mosquito... More
