First I wanted to praise the office, at least it has no long queue like ESF. The people are very patiented, and responded my email within a day (ESF never replied and I had to queue at least 45 mins to get my group lesson card.) Our private lesson booking was messed up by a third party agent, but the office has sorted out.

I only booked one 1.5 hour private beginner lesson for my Dad and husband as this is their first time and they were not sure whether they'll like it before committing more lessons.

It probably a mistake to book just one lesson. As it turned out it was not very popular for the ski teacher, and the first original teacher didn't turn up and I had to run to the office to ask what has happened. They offer us a later slot, that original teacher also didn't turn up and a young teacher called B.... (in his mid 20/early 30) turned up.

I guess mature ski student needs to overcome more than young student. But the teacher, does not quite care. He has shown no interest to his mature students, after showing them once how triangle position should be like, then off they go. He is always at least 3 - 5 steps away from them and letting them struggle and fell by themselves. my Dad and husband did not manage to stop properly and the teacher decided to take them to the drag lift, and one of the worst thing was that my Dad still unable to stop, and cutting across the route of people who is taking drag lift up. Thankfully, that was in between 2 skier, therefore he didn't hit anyone. I had to shout to let the teacher know to rescue my Dad. As the teacher was at the very front of the lift queue talking to his fellow teachers.

I recalled my first private ski lesson (different ski resort), my teacher skied backward, in front of us, as we learnt one by one. The teacher helped us to feel how to pressurised the ski into triangle position and showed us exactly how to stop. before taking us to the lift...

The worst fell from my Dad was that his hands touched the floor first and his twisted his fingers. so he decided not to continue with the lesson even still got 45 mins left...

A shame, as my Dad and husband was so looking forward to learn skiing... but now they will not ever try it again... (Bear in mind although my Dad has retired, but still very fit, who goes to gym every week and played badminton 4 times a week.)

I rarely gave negative comments, but we did feel very disappointed with the lesson.

I booked the 6 day beginners course for my teenage sons (16 & 19). The group was small (about 6). On the first day they were taught by Luke but by the second day, having made good progress, they were moved up a class to Ronald. They enjoyed being taught by Ronald, as they had a shared sense of humour and responded well to his teaching style. They learnt quickly and were able to easily ski blue runs by the end. Thank you Ronald and thank you ESI, money well spent!

We booked six beginner lessons, myself being a non-skiier and my wife having not skied for many years. Rodolphe was a friendly and patient instructor, switching between French and English and catering to all levels.

Despite his very best efforts it turned out I wasn't too keen on heights, hampered my progress! However my wife enjoyed the course, she felt he made an effort to help her improve and encouraged her to discover more of the slopes.

Our ski instructor Raphael was brilliant at quickly understanding what we wanted to get out of our ski lessons and providing me and my 2 sons with great skiing experience on Les 2 Alpes slopes. He adviced us on how to improve our ski techinque and was friendly and flexible time-wise on the 4 days we had lessons with him. Would definately go back to ESI Saint Christophe again!
Keep up the good work guys!

Having been on group lessons previously I decided to have private lessons this time and am so glad I did. The Instructor was very encouraging and had me working on what I needed to improve. Les 2 Alpes is a great place for beginner/intermediate skiers with superb pistes to practise on without being too scary! One in our party took the beginners group lessons and because he practiced well in the afternoons they promoted him to keep pace with his ability. I would certainly have lessons with Ecole de Ski Saint Christophe again

Had the kids in ski school with st Christophe for the week. First lesson with Rudolph and then the rest with Gerard. They had a great week and skied more than us, being taken all over the resort and progressing to red runs! Before the end of the week they got to ski Lutins in the dark with fire torches and then resulting in them getting their medals to progress to the next level. They had a great time with English speaking instructors within a mixed group. Thoroughly recommend 👍

There are 2 other very good ski schools in the vicinity. I would urge and recommend going elsewhere. I have no doubt that the instructors are knowledgable, but in my experience I was placed in a french class with 1 one word in 50 spoken in English. So being an absolute beginner this class was dreadful, no use at all if you don't speak French. The instructors clearly manage to the majority which is understandable, but why not have an English class, when other schools in the vicinity do? What is worse is the attitude of the admin staff, whose response upon my complaint was 'it is French week' and really did care whether they taught or not, they truly don't care, and pushed me around a number of other ESI employees. I am a beginner so I am never going to be Franz Klamner, but having since been to another school and my son went to another, the experience there was massively more positive in language and attitude for beginners. Go elsewhere you won't regret it.

I booked a beginner's class for my husband online for classes in English . He is a complete beginner . It was French holidays so they combined English and French in one class - 2 instructors for between 20 / 25 people , with only 2 other English students. Obviously with this dynamic, the instructor spoke mostly in French and as a result he had a horrible time. When we went into the office in the evening to flag the problem and see about alternatives eg private lessons we were faced with a terrible attitude . We were told ''it was our problem , we should expect to be taught in French as French holidays, it was clearly advertised as a French & English lesson ( it was not at all ) and they had no private lessons left." They then told us we had to speak to various people and after 5 trips back to the office to try find the owner , he basically told me it was not his problem and he did not care and would not reimburse us for the remainder of the classes. Everyone I spoke to was rude and indifferent.
Go to the other ESSI ( ski &snowboard school ) - they were lovely . They gave my husband a class and decided it was not right for him as complete beginner so reimbursed him . Gave great private lessons too. Great people and professional attitude. Our recommendation is to avoid St Christophe - very unhelpful.

Great ! We thank you for your comment ! I was every morning at the meeting point from 8.45 to 9.30 (beginning of ski lessons). I never talked to you or your husband and I really regret it. On the same week I had 6 English speaking people and 4 French in my group, only your husband Roger didn't go to the end of ski lessons. ESI = International Ski School I regret that your comment is in English whereas you speak a very well French ! Best regards Valérie (ESI ST CHRISTOPHE)

Having had lessons with 2 other schools in the resort this was by far the best! With european ski school - we made no progress and felt like we were being told off all the tine and the Firstrax instructor didn't even turn up. ESI had excellent customer service and an amazing instructor and to top it off was cheaper then all of the others in the resort! We had lost all confidence and were close to giving up before our session with Benois. I cannot recommend them enough.
