This was a bit tough. It was a bit nerve wracking to climb up in our car. Very twisty road, some of it unpaved. Once we found it, the view was incredible. Make sure you have a really good camera with a wide-angle lens. But we were looking for the Eli Cohen Trail, and we were misled into thinking that this was part of it. As far as we could tell, it was not. But it was a beautiful view anyway. But by the time we were up there, we were pretty exhausted and didn't spend much time.

Relatively easy hike, the road in wasn’t terribly well maintained so drive slowly. Great views of the Golan and the entire Kenneret. Highly recommend!

Accessible by car and a short walk, the view of the Sea of Galilee and the Galil mountains is beautiful. The lookout is also part of a long trail down to Old Beni Yehuda if you're up for a hike.

A stunning point to view the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights from the other banks of the Sea of Galilee (the side opposite to Tiberius).

Beautiful olive trees and incredibly beautiful views. We were so lucky to go past this lookout! I will leave my photos to do the convincing.

I tried to attach panoramic photos but they are being rejected due to their size, apologies.

This must be one of the nicest lookouts in the country. From the vantage point at Ophir, you see the entire Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) stretched out below, it's an amazing sight. And if you look in the other direction, you see a part of the Golan Heights. Most definitely worth stopping here if you're in the area (and even worth making a small detour if it's not directly on your route). After stopping and taking in the view, it's only a few minutes' drive to the ancient Roman ruins of Susita -- also worth a visit.

We went early morning but I think anytime of day it would be worth a short detour. Amazing! There are benches and shade so it’s accessible for the whole family. Fantastic photo op!

I’ve known this place for 25 years and I keep coming back since the view is magnificent. This is the spot I chose to propose to my wife. From the western slopes of he GOLAN Heights the entire Sea of Galilee is spread behind it the Arbel Cliff and Tavor mountain. On a good day you can see the Hermon on the right and the Samaritan mountains on the left.
There are a few picnic tables and wheelchair access.

Breathtaking doesn't describe this paradise, the dessert mountains on one side and kinneret with it's light blue water on the other! The drive up is the most scenic I had in Israel, u can sit here hours looking at the views. If you're in Israel do yourself a favor and come experience this beauty.
