Few people on the beach in a beautiful setting. Take caution where there are rocks - according to locals there can be tricky and dangerous currents.
Wonderful place. All that was advertised, paid for and promised was delivered flawlessly. Run very smooth.
Very romantic and remote beach, ideal for a walk, not so much for sunbathing. Clean water and all year warm enough for a jump into the water.
Strangely enough, Playa El Almejal reminds us of another famous beach 6,500 km to the northwest: Long Beach in Tofino, Canada. It’s wide and rugged with driftwood and big rock mounds along it and waves fit for surfing. El Almejal has no bears though. And it’s warmer (just…
