Only 10 minutes from the airport, the Zeppelin Museum offers a fascinating insight into the history of the airship, the infamous Hindenburg and highlights a whole sub culture of people who collect airship memorabelia

I loved this museum! The Zeppelin museum combines history, technology, culture and aesthetics in a unique and compelling way. Friedrichshafen is the birthplace of airships. The museum is housed in the airship port and is a savvy combination of science and style. It's like being...More

We found this to be a very worthwhile museum in a great location at the lakefront. It's spacious and very nicely set up with a good gift shop. Not just for flying fanatics at all (as some airplane museums tend to be). Don't miss the...More

We enjoyed this museum, especially the recreation of the passenger compartment of the transatlantic zeppelin. There was alot of objects related to the blimp.

I enjoy history so this was quite a learning experience. This is a big museum with vast history of the Zepellins plus a reconstruction of the Hindenburg. Worth a visit.

The museum was close to our hotel and we walked passed it several times. As it was a bit of a rainy day we found it the right time to go in and visit the museum. However we were not alone and the queue to...More

This is most likely the most authentic spot to learn about the history of Zeppelins. Facts, historically document all at one place. The museum is right next to the harbor with lots of restaurants, cafe´s and shops

Hi there! Yes, the Zeppelin Museum is definitely kid friendly. They even supply some small items for kids such as cardboard "suitcases" with baggage tags to fill in by the kids themselves. Also the small section with... More
