We were on the way back to Hurrlingen and decided to stop here. We were told of free parking at a section of road with a wall. We found it and it's actually opposite the Hotel Seehotel Hubertus. We crossed a little bridge, decended to the hotel premises and walked left alongside the lake towards the train station Seebrugg. We... More

This lake was right next to the hotel where I had a weeklonmg business conference so we came back to enjoy the hotel and the boating activities on the lake. Restaurants around and the first weekend in October the crowds are a bit thinner.

We visited in September and had an amazing time here. On the one side, there's the town, with the nearby Rothaus brewery to the east. The other side is secluded, full of trails for biking and hiking in the forest. This is a very scenic place and highly recommended. However, even though it was a hot day the water was... More

Fantastic path all the way round the see. Would recommend the boat ride to avoid the dam but really well maintained paths with accesses to little beaches. Lots to do in summer, a few places already closed (end of sept) but loved the unique location. Lots to do!

There are lovely walks along the lake. But for those who like more activities there is tennis, boating and swimming.

Nice lake as well. Much bigger than titisee. Nice to make the boat trip. Beautifull sight in the lake from the swimming pool.

We spent 4 days here, the lake is beautiful, take a tour on the large boat, we hired a peddalo and went round the lake, lovely views and the train passes through, there is a bike hire nearby. Definitely recommend this place, we also had wonderful weather

The lakes has plenty of sailingboats and electrical boats. This makes sure you're not going to be ran over by speedboats while swimming. Lake is rather deep and it is at 955 meters so the water is a bit nippy to say the least. Good place to rent boats or SUP boards.

Looks like a model railroad backdrop. Lots of sporting, relaxing, eating opportunities. A bit crowded on holidays with nice weather.

We stayed for 3 days at the Kurhotel. It was AMAZING. The area is beautiful. I would recommend hiring a bike (probably worth you booking in advance) and cycling all around the lake. The viewing tower is also worth the hike. Beautiful, beautiful place to be.
