Great year round attraction, good cross country skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing in the winter months, great for hiking or mountain biking in the spring and summer. Awesome views of Tegernsee from the summit. One area for improvement, the cable cars are looking a little tired....

The cable cart is a great easy, quick way to go up the mountain. It offers beautiful views on the way up. The cost was about €8 per ticket. It comes regularly as we just missed a cart. If your not a hiker then it's the best way to get to the top for a nice beer or quick bite... More

Went again last weekend with the whole family to Wallberg and took the cable car to the top. The weather was excellent and the view amazing as always. On the top one has many options for trekking, climbing, jumping with paraglide or just sitting in the panorama restaurant and enjoying the mountains on a beer. With small kids you can... More

Went for a hike up Wallbergbahn and it was tiring but gratifying. 2 hour hike uphill but 1 hour 20 mins downhill. Lovely scenery. Hike can be difficult in segments where the path was rocky. At the top, the views were fantastic. Watched hang gliders taking off. Panorama restaurant was a Godsend after the hike, serving delicious Kaiserschmaarn. Definitely worth... More

Had planned to do the toboggan ride down the mountain 6.5km but unfortunately due to the weather it was closed as the run was icy, ( €19 for two trips+€5 toboggan hire) however we decided to take the cable car ride instead. It was a stunning day, with views for miles across the lake, lots of hang gliders taking advantage... More

In our trip to southern germany - my wife found this adventure. We sled down the hill with our four kids and grandparents. The 4 plus mile sled ride down hill was AMAZING. Beautiful views, and our kids are asking to go back. We actually did the sled ride twice and if we had time would of went back the... More
