This is a very special place. The mill is fully restored and operational producing flour and crushed oats. All machinery is visible including the water wheel. The process is fully explained and the operators are there to help. Fantastic for children and ours were amazed....More

We visited the nature reserve with our doggies. Despite living in the area, I had no idea this place existed and was pleasantly surprised by the idyllic surroundings. The reserve has a lovely circular walk, which we are the pooches enjoyed.

A lovely afternoon in a beautiful setting - visited the working water mill, enjoyed tea and cake in the tea room and then strolled around the nature reserve next door. Gorgeous.

We went as a Family, with the Grandkids, to the special Steam & Country Fair. Excellent day out! Real horses ploughing! Dog shows, antique Lorries & cars. Beer tents, coffee shops, food etc. Can thoroughly recommend this great day out! You need a full day...More

Really enjoyed a piece of history and brilliant products (flour and oats) cafe seemed a little overpriced however would.definitely go again really liked being able to do own flour. grinding lady in shop was really nice
